| SPOTLIGHT ARTIST - HERITECH |
Band Name: Heritech Band Website: www.heritech.net Band Members: Sokaris, Dodd, Morder, Josh, Kenji Band Biography: Nostradamus predicted that the seventh month of the year 1999 would bring "The great King of Terror." Through early astronomy the Mayans ended their calendar with 2012's winter solstice. Evangelical Christians scour current events for signs of the endtimes. Political and social tensions mount and war has become an everyday reality for many. Mutual assured destruction was toted as a guarantee of nuclear deterrance for all involved but atomic weapons have become more commonplace and social unrest grows. The possibility of nuclear winter has reared its ugly head. The true nihilism and self-destructive nature of man has surfaced. Social de-evolution is completing the cycle of human creation and destruction. If to be human is to pitifully descend into death engineered by the powers that be, then we stand as heretics to our fellow man. The meek shall inherit nothing but their own demise. THE FUTURE BELONGS TO US... Heritech was formed in late 2004 in by Dodd and Sokaris as a side project from a then existing band. After appearing one self-distributed compilation (featuring other local bands/projects) the band was put on indefinite hiatus because of band member relocation. Recently, the project was resurrected over the Internet and a new focus of Heritech became apparent. Adding to their ranks guitarists Morder and Josh, Heritech are set to release their first demo "Xenopathic Biocide" soon. Review Of This Band By Mistress Malice: COMING SOON! |
